A NUMBER IS ONLY THE START
Your free face rating gives you the measurements. A report connects those details and turns them into suggestions you can actually use.

In this example, both eye widths are similar. The outer corners sit slightly higher than the inner corners. Pose and expression still matter when comparing photos.

UNDERSTAND THE RESULT
From the front, a camera sees the outline of the lower face: how wide it is at the jaw points, how sharply it turns toward the chin and how wide the chin is. We measure these on the landmark mesh after levelling the eyes. A frontal photo cannot measure the profile jaw angle, bone structure or how defined the jaw looks in different light.
Read the exact scoring methodThe test combines jaw width with the contour angle at each jaw point, then reads chin span separately. None of these outlines is better than another; they suggest different styling choices.
The lower face stays wide at the jaw points and turns more abruptly toward the chin.
Styling notes: Texture or height on top, a beard kept shorter at the sides and fuller at the chin, and open collars that draw a vertical line all lengthen a broad lower face. Blunt ends exactly at the jaw add width.
The lower face narrows steadily from the cheeks without a pronounced corner or point.
Styling notes: Most cuts, beard lengths and collars work. Shorter sides keep the outline neat; a fuller chin beard or a longer cut lengthens it.
The lower face narrows clearly from the cheeks toward a smaller chin.
Styling notes: Fullness at chin level, a beard grown fuller along the jaw, and crew necks or collars that add width balance a tapered lower face. Tall crown volume makes the taper stronger.
YOUR QUESTIONS, EXPLAINED
It gives measurements and a descriptive jaw type: broad, balanced or tapered, plus a narrow, medium or wide chin. We do not convert them into a beauty score, because a broad or tapered jaw is not better in itself. Use the readings to compare photos or to choose a beard, haircut or collar.
On each side we take the angle between the cheek point, the jaw point and the chin point on the landmark mesh. A smaller angle means the outline turns more abruptly. It is a 2D contour angle in the front view, not the gonial angle measured from the side.
People usually mean a visible edge between the jaw and neck and a clear corner below the ears. Light, body fat, a beard, posture and head tilt all change that impression. A frontal outline cannot capture shadow or definition, so we report width and turn instead.
Faces are not mirror images, and a slight head turn shortens one side in the photo. Use a level, straight-on photo. Small differences are normal.
This tool does not diagnose anything or recommend treatments. Styling changes how the lower face reads: a beard can square or lengthen it, fullness near the chin can widen it, and posture and camera angle change it in photos.
We measure the span between two lower chin points relative to cheek width. A narrow chin makes the lower face read as more tapered; a wide chin keeps it broad.
