How does the AI face rater work?+
A local landmark model identifies 478 points on your face. FaceRater uses selected points to calculate an experimental alignment score and ten measurements. You can inspect the lines and read the formula. Optional paid reports add written explanations, styling suggestions and a personal plan.
How long does a free face rating take?+
Allow about a minute for the free scan. The time depends on your device and connection; the first scan also loads the analyzer. You will see its current progress and can cancel or try another photo if needed. The paid report has a separate delivery target of two hours.
What does my face rating score mean?+
It summarizes how closely selected facial landmarks align in this photo. A higher score means smaller measured alignment differences. It is not a population ranking or a universal attractiveness scale. Read your eye angles, feature proportions and photo notes alongside the number.
Why does my face rating change between photos?+
Head turn, expression, camera distance and uneven lighting can change detected positions. Use a clear frontal photo and compare similar conditions. A changed number alone does not prove your face changed; checking the measurement map is the best first step.
Is this the same as an attractiveness test?+
The free face rating opens in our Attractiveness Test, where you can explore the measured result. Both use the same analysis. There is no second upload or separate scoring formula when you move from the homepage to the test or your personal report.
What is included in a paid face analysis report?+
The $7.99 report explains your Face Signature, strengths and priorities, with a 72-hour action plan. The $17.99 report also includes 44 measurements across seven regions, one styling concept, six hairstyle images, colors, eyewear, routines and a four-week plan. Both include a private web report and PDF. You can upgrade for the $10 difference. Prices are before tax; any applicable tax is shown before you pay.
Do I need an account, email or credit card to start?+
No. Choose your photo and run the free scan. Emailing yourself a return link is optional. Only a paid report requires checkout and a delivery email; you do not need to create a password.
What happens to my photo?+
The free test processes and saves your photo on your device. Optional email saving stores your measured result, not your selfie. A paid AI report requires your separate permission to process the photo for analysis and styling images. Your private report is not published in a gallery.
