A local landmark model identifies 478 points on your face. FaceRater measures 17 proportions and compares them with front-facing adult photos from a balanced public research set, then shows where you stand. You can inspect the lines and read the method. The optional AI stylist adds written explanations, styling suggestions and the full style report with a personal plan.

Allow about a minute for the free scan. The time depends on your device and connection; the first scan also loads the analyzer. You will see its current progress and can cancel or try another photo if needed. The full style report, ordered in the AI stylist, has a separate delivery target of two hours.

It summarizes how close the proportions in this photo sit to the common range of adult faces, across thirds, fifths, eyes, jaw and symmetry. 7.5 is typical; the percentile shows how many reference faces you are ahead of. It is not a universal attractiveness scale. Read your eye angles, feature proportions and photo notes alongside the number.

Head turn, expression, camera distance and uneven lighting can change detected positions. Use a clear frontal photo and compare similar conditions. A changed number alone does not prove your face changed; checking the measurement map is the best first step.
