FaceRater provides photo measurements, an AI stylist and optional full style reports. This notice explains what happens at each step, what we keep, and how you can contact us. Privacy and deletion requests: report@facerater.ai.
1. Before you analyze a photo
The service is for adults aged 18 or older. Use your own adult photo, or a photo of another adult who has agreed to this analysis. Before a personal scan, you must actively confirm the on-device processing notice and agree to the Terms. The checkbox is never selected for you. Choosing a new photo resets it. Viewing our synthetic sample does not upload a personal photo.
2. Free tools: your photo stays on your device
Our attractiveness test, canthal tilt, symmetry, face-proportion and Mog comparison tools detect facial landmarks and calculate measurements in your browser. Free scans do not send your photo or full landmark map to FaceRater or an AI service. We save the photo, measurements and your processing acknowledgement in this browser so you can revisit the result without scanning again.
To keep the harmony percentile accurate, each scan also adds one to anonymous counts of how many scans landed on each score, rounded to 0.1 point, for the overall score and its five parts, by day and by the site's language (English or Japanese). The count carries no photo, landmark, measurement, identifier or cookie, and we do not store your IP address with it.
These local copies remain until you delete them from your account page or clear this site's browser data. They do not automatically move to another device or website address. A page URL containing only an analysis ID cannot retrieve your local photo from our servers.
3. The full style report requires separate permission
Before the AI stylist makes your full style report, we ask you to actively consent to uploading your photo and facial measurements. When you continue, a reduced-size copy is uploaded to private Cloudflare storage so it is ready for the report. AI generation starts only after the report’s credits are reserved.
EvoLink receives the photo and measurements needed for AI-written interpretation and styling images. We use Cloudflare to store the report, produce its PDF, and send its delivery email. Access to private images uses authorized requests or temporary signed links. Free analysis remains available if you decline.
FaceRater does not sell your photos or facial measurements, build advertising profiles from them, identify you against a face database, or use them to train a FaceRater model. EvoLink routes requests to its model services; their processing is governed by the provider's terms. We do not claim that every upstream provider has a retention or training policy we have independently verified.
4. The AI stylist and your account
The AI stylist is optional and needs an account. You can sign in with Google, which shares your name, email address and Google account identifier with us, or with a one-time email link. We use them to keep your account, credits, chats and reports together.
When you use the AI stylist, we send EvoLink your messages, a summary of your scan (face shape, jaw, likely color season and measurements, computed on your device; not your landmarks or photo) and the chat’s two most recent photos to generate each reply. Your chats, the photos you add and the images the AI stylist creates are stored with your account until you delete them: delete a photo or image in the chat, a chat from your chat list, or everything on your account page. Starting a new chat keeps your earlier ones. If you don’t open the AI stylist for 12 months, we delete your chats, photos and images automatically. For a try-on, a private copy of your photo is kept only while the image is being made. A full style report follows section 3.
The AI stylist does not rate attractiveness. Add only photos of yourself or of another adult who has agreed, and never photos of anyone under 18. We do not use your chats or photos to train a FaceRater model.
5. What we keep and for how long

Physical deletion runs through scheduled cleanup jobs, so removal can follow the stated expiry time rather than happen at the exact second. Copies you download, forward or share remain under your control. Providers may retain operational or backup records under their own policies.
6. Payments, email and service providers
Our payment service provider handles checkout for credit packs. When you open a checkout, we send the provider your account email and an internal account ID, and the provider may keep a customer record for you even if you don't finish paying. Depending on where you are, the provider sells the pack to you and receives the billing details it needs to calculate tax. FaceRater receives order references, payment status and your checkout email, not your full card number. Cloudflare provides hosting, database, private file storage, PDF rendering and email delivery. EvoLink provides the AI requests for the AI stylist and reports. These providers may process information outside your country.

8. Sharing, deletion and withdrawing permission
Sharing creates a downloadable card; it does not publish your photo to a public gallery. Photos are omitted by default. Including a photo is a separate choice, and sharing someone else's photo requires their permission.
Delete local scans, and all your chats and photos with the AI stylist, on your account page; delete a single chat, photo or try-on image in the AI stylist. For deletion of report files or your account, withdrawal of ongoing processing permission, access or correction requests, email report@facerater.ai from your account email. Do not send card details. We may verify ownership before releasing or deleting private information. A withdrawal cannot undo processing already completed.
9. Changes and contact
We date this notice and record the processing notice accepted with newly submitted data. If the processing purpose changes, we will update the notice and request a new choice where needed. Contact report@facerater.ai with privacy questions. Read the Terms of Use for the scope of the service.
